Welcome To

Villagrana Aviary

We are located in the dry state of New Mexico in a small town called Dona Ana, on the outskirts of Las Cruces.
Here I raise pheasant ,Peafowl and Domestic poultry such as chickens, ducks and fancy pigeons.
Among the pheasant species I keep are; Goldens in several colors or mutations, Lady Amherst, Zaurdny's pheasant, Silver pheasant, Reeves, Blue Earred, Ring-necks.
We are looking into adding more species as the years go by so , it's always good to keep checking with us. As we add to our collection.
We do provide and ship fall birds or adults by United Postal Service in approved shipping containers. We start shipping in the month of September. The weather has cooled down by then. If you wish to skip the shipping process and would rather pick up birds, you may do so by appointment only.
I do not sale eggs but will trade eggs of the same species or of equal value.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me. If you call and I do not answer PLEASE! leave a complete message. I will get back to you.

Ironwing (black) Raven heads (black) Spot (black
Origin: China (Middle Kingdom) The Chinese Nasal Tuft are a group of different patterned and self-colored pigeons. They are a small medium sized bird with a tuft of feathers above the beak area. The Chinese Nasal Tuft have a long ancient history in China. Here in the states the patterns that are seen are as follows: Two-Patches, Raven Heads, Ringbreast, Spot, Snowflower Grizzle, and Selfs (solid colors) I have been lucky enough to have aquired the patterns and colors mentioned above. The Chinese Nasal Tuft is a rare breed here in the states and so it is hard to find breeders with good stock birds. The pictures you see below are from the net and not of my birds but, I will be posting pictures of my birds as I take them. If you or you know of someone with more background history on this wonderful and ancient breed PLEASE, contact me.
